Every Day is a Happy Day

Yesterday was my Mom’s birthday! I thought it was fitting to use my new Dies and Die Cutting machine that she gave me for Christmas. For my first large shaped card I think this turned out really well. I did find out that my stash of 12×12 cardstock is going to need to be beefed up a bit, I only had “bold brights” and mellow moss…not typically colors I use on a regular basis.

I used some older SU DP for this card called Bella Rose. Then I stamped my MFT sentiment in Vintage Cream Hybrid ink from PTI (love this ink, don’t use it nearly enough-need to order Aqua Mist). I also rolled a few roses from Bubble Gum felt to compliment my Jellybean Green Bow.

I didn’t get a picture, but inside this card I stamped “Happy Birthday” on a white piece of card stock. Nothing special because we needed room for everyone in the family to sign and write a message.
