This summer Jordan and I have had a blast seeing several concerts and spending time with friends. Two weekends ago we saw Eric Church and Kenny Chesney at Ford Field for the No Shoes Nation Tour (After seeing Jake Owen perform a couple times this summer that would have been a more fitting name for a tour that included him).
For this concert our tickets were in a different area than our friends, but we still had a great time. We saw Eric Church last November and the concert rocked! This show was no different! The crowd was a amazing and he even played a song or two that he didn’t play in the fall.
This pic turned out pretty good! More video screens should be black and white only so I can get good pictures (selfish, I know)!
I was excited to see Kenny Chesney perform because I’d heard great things about his live shows and people tend to see him every year. We were sitting around people who were seeing him for the ninth time. If you ask me someone must have an awesome show to see it that many times! I didn’t get any good pic’s while Kenny was performing, but we did have a great time dancing and signing along.
For this event we opted to get a hotel downtown so we didn’t have to worry about driving home after tailgating and having too much fun! Which worked out really well. The next morning we went to brunch at Cliff Bells, were you get bottomless bloody mary’s and mimosas! Sounded like a perfect start to me. We then decided that we should take in the Tigers game at 1pm. We got standing room tickets and watched Max Scherzer pull off his 18th win of the season!
This was my 5th and Jordan’s 4th game this season. We have tickets planned for one more game, who knows if they make the playoffs again we might plan another game or two! This has been a great summer! I think definitely having the goal of making the best of every situation have really made this summer the best.
Check back soon, I’ll have some other great times and cute crafts to share!
