Check out this sneak peak of the May Paper Pumpkin Kit! I love the name of it, Many Manly Occasions! Sometimes as a crafter it’s difficult to create for the men in our lives…I can’t be the only one who struggles with this.
Sign up today at Paperpumpkin.com and select Caroline Peck as your demonstrator to get this great kit by the end of the month!
When you sign up, you will also be added to the mailing list for the monthly Paper Pumpkin email that provides awesome ideas for alternative uses for the kits and a link to order refills! Here is an example of this months email!
If you have been following along, you know that one of my “resolutions” is to send more cards. I started last year with sending more birthday cards so this movement fits in well!
Read this post from Shannon West, Demonstrator Training Manager at Stampin’ Up! to see how the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement got started. Then make your list, collect your addresses, and get stamping!
In the video in Shannon’s post, she teaches a local (in Utah) news anchor how to make a birthday card using the Build a Birthday (138646 $16) stamp set and Whisper White Notecards (131527 $6). She mentions that all of the supplies they used could be your for $50, but I couldn’t quite figure out where she was spending her money! So I made a list of items you could purchase for a little over $50 to make 20 birthday cards to send and get a FREE sale-a-bration item.
Choose Build a Birthday (138646 $16) stamp set, Whisper White Notecards (131527 $6), Cherry on Top Designer Washi Tape (138384 $8), Crushed Curry Classic Stampin’ Pad (131173 $6.50), Pool Party Classic Stampin’ Pad (126982 $6.50), and Clear Block H (118490 $8.50) for a grand total of $51.50. Then choose 1 FREE sale-a-bration item from here or here!
Also, you can order your own #hashtag stamp here! Shannon is using the stamp on the outer envelope to promote her movement and let people know they can use that #hashtag to show off their birthday card!

I forgot to share an anniversary card I made for some friends who recently celebrated their 1 year wedding anniversary! I often forget to share my cards because I want the recipients to be the first to see them!
I used mint macaron cardstock, basic black cardstock, vellum cardstock, and timeless elegance DSP. I added a little bit of black lace ribbon I had in my scrap bin to finish off the look.
All of the products I used can be found on my website (except the black lace)!
