Best Wishes on Your Wedding Day

While I was away in Utah for Stampin’ Up! Convention there was a wedding. Our new friends Jason and Christy got married! I created this card for Jordan to give them to show our love and support on this blessed day!

I hand colored the card using copic markers. I love making shaped cards for special occasions. I hope they liked it and I hope they had an amazing wedding day!

Happily Ever After

I made this black and white wedding card for our good friends Stephanie and Artur for their wedding the first weekend of August. This card turned out super cute and I’m going to add this layout to my Etsy shop!

Later this week or early next week I will also be adding the invitations and other stationary I made for Stephanie and Artur’s wedding day! Everything turned out better than I could have imagined and I can’t wait to share the pictures with everyone!

I’ve Been Busy

Every time I have a week day off of work I have a super long “To Do” list around the house and down in my craft room. I generally don’t get everything on my list done and it carries over. I always have big plans for planning out my blog posts, but lately I haven’t been able to post as I have planned.

Here are a few things I have been working on:

I had 2 Etsy orders that needed to be filled. Each one of the orders had 2 cards in the order and all of them had to be made from scratch. I love filling Etsy orders and I love sharing my crafts with everyone.

2 of the cards ordered where exactly like the cards listed on Etsy, but 2 of them were completely new and exciting. The first a Graduation card and the second a wedding card.

I like creating custom cards. I also enjoy when customers want to add their own personal touch of their loved ones name or a special date.

I have so much fun coloring these cards. Thanks for stopping by today and taking a look at what I’ve been up too! I’m hoping to have more blog posts to share with everyone soon!

Beautiful Bride (and Groom)

I love getting orders from my Etsy page! Most of the orders I have received for one of my custom cards  are from Grooms ordering the card for their Brides. Nothing is more special than feeling like I get to be a part of their big day.

I love creating this custom card because I get creative freedom within boundaries. My boundaries for this card where purple and grey and the special image I created for this card. I used Wisteria Wonder, Smokey Slate, and Silver cardstock from Stampin’ Up.

I printed the KissyKissy Cake Topper Digi stamp from The Greeting Farm with the words I added in photoshop on Curious Metallic Cryogen White cardstock, which is my favorite paper to use for coloring.

This is the first card that I have created that included the names of the recipients. I personally love the way the card turned out and I plan to add this as an option on my Etsy site. Photoshop is an amazing program that can do wonderful things with all of the digi stamps that are available from different stamp companies.

This was also my first attempt at coloring black hair. I think this turned out better than I expected, but I plan on practicing a ton to prefect my technique. I used cool grays from Copic to make the highlights in the hair.

Now taking advanced order for all the weddings in 2014! I won’t make the same card for the same couple so get your orders in early!

Happily Ever After

I made this card for my brother to give for a wedding he was attending. I used some new dies and stamps I had gotten in August at the Heirloom Expo I attend yearly with my Mom.

I typically use white cardstock as the base for all of my cards, but this time I really think it would have turned out better if I would have used a color! Hindsight is always 20/20.

Thanks for visiting!
